Rhanda, a lifelong resident of the St George area and a St Declan’s and Bethany College graduate, has dedicated her career to the public sector after completing her law degree. Committed to traditional family values, she is passionate about advocating for justice in the community, particularly for women and young people. Driven by her belief in giving back, Rhanda has volunteered with various organisations, including the Salvation Army. She hopes to leverage her professional experience to give young people an independent voice and enhance their job opportunities.
Kamal is a resident and small business owner in the Hurstville area. As a young entrepreneur, he’s well aware of the challenges that young people face in today’s economic climate. He believes the Council should take action to stimulate the local economy and create more opportunities for youth. Coming from a Nepali background, he has a deep understanding of the issues affecting the multicultural community in the Georges River LGA. This drives his aspiration to give an independent voice to marginalised residents and help unite our community.

Jun Qi, the president of the Georges River Association (GRA), migrated to Australia over 20 years ago with a strong desire to give back to the community. He’s an active member of SES service. Under his leadership, GRA has organised more than a hundred community events focused on environmental protection, multicultural celebrations, public welfare, and residents' rights. He is dedicated to providing an independent voice for residents, particularly those from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.
